Pura or the house of tej Paku Alam us located 2 KM east of the Sultan Palace, this “ smaller palace “ was erected by the brother of Sultan Hamengku Buwono I, Prince Notokusumo. He built this palace in 12 AD. Today Pura Pakualaman is the residence of Prince Paku Alam IX and this family.
